The sumo is one of the shapes people ask for by name. It is a cold-air inflatable, and that changes everything about how it works.

Air, not helium

A blower runs continuously and the shape stands under that pressure. It is not sealed and it does not fly.

That is why the shape can be a figure at all. Nothing has to hold gas or fly stably, so the moulding is free. A helium balloon cannot be a sumo wrestler; a cold-air inflatable can.

Power is the practical constraint

Mains power at the spot where it stands, for every hour it is up. Plan the cable run and the socket before you plan anything else.

Also: it comes down at close of business. A fan left running unattended overnight is a risk nobody needs, and cold-air shapes are not designed to be unwatched.

It is a close-range product

At fifty feet a large sumo is very hard to ignore. At five hundred feet, standing at ground level behind parked cars, it disappears.

So it turns a forecourt into an event; it does not pull traffic off a highway. If pulling traffic is your problem, a helium blimp at 120 feet is the product and this is not.

Sizes and ordering

We build cold-air shapes to about 25 feet. Quoted per project, because the shape and the detailing are yours rather than off a list.

Lead times run longer than a stock balloon: there is pattern and mould work before anything is welded. If you have a date, ask early.
